Mohammed Alqahtani
General Counsel
Mohammed Alqahtani is the General Counsel of Air Products Qudra– the development and investment company of Air Products in the Middle East with Qudra Energy as the joint venture partner, a subsidiary of Vision Invest. Mohammed plays a vital role in leading the legal aspects of the company’s operations. In addition, Mohammed is the company’s secretary overseeing governance across the board and all committees.
Mohammed brings over 15 years of experience in counseling and advising boards of directors, c-suite officers and executive leadership teams particularly on matters related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts and dispute resolution. Having worked in both law firms and diverse sectors, Mohammed has successfully negotiated, documented and closed a wide range of complex transactions.
Prior to joining APQ in June 2024, Mohammed worked in Oil Park Development Company – THE RIG, a PIF subsidiary, in 2022 as the General Director of the Legal Department assisting in building the governance framework, closing various contracts including the project EPC contracts and the project regulatory framework. Earlier in his career, Mohammed played a key leadership role for more than 9 years in Aujan Group where he worked as the Legal and Operations Director overseeing the group direct activities and the legal matters of affiliated companies across the Kingdom. Before moving in-house, Mohammed spent three years in private practice at law firms in Jeddah and Khobar.
Mohammed holds an LLB from King Abdulaziz University and an LLM from the University of Westminster in Corporate Finance Law, and he also holds the membership of the Saudi Bar Association.
